Yonhap News Agency, a South Korean media outlet, reported that a fire broke out on an Airbus A321-200 aircraft operated by Air Busan at Gimhae International Airport in Busan, approximately 320 kilometers southeast of Seoul. Firefighters initially believed the fire started at the rear of the plane before spreading to the middle of the fuselage, as the flight was due to depart for Hong Kong at 10:26 p.m. local time.
